On December 19, 2024, on the territory of the Sakhalin Western Seaport JV Sakhalin-Shelf-Service LLC, training exercises were conducted to eliminate the spill of petroleum products, conducted in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation before approving the emergency spill response plan for oil and petroleum products.

During the training exercises, interaction was worked out between various services, both the enterprise itself and the emergency services involved in emergency response at the municipal level, the actions of the Emergency and Fire Safety Commission, the emergency response manager, who is the head of the Sakhalin Western Seaport, and rescuers of the Sakhalin branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Marine Rescue Service" in Kholmsk and Korsakov were considered..

The parties also worked out the organization of the deployment and interaction of forces and the elimination of accidents and their consequences. The practical skills of the rescuers and the specialists involved in the Sakhalin Shelf Service LLC joint venture were also inspected.

The exercises were recognized as successful. The readiness of the forces and facilities of the Morspassluzhba branch was confirmed by the commission, and the actions of the employees and support services of the NWMP OP who participated in the training exercises were recognized as satisfactory.
